5 Of Our Favourite Wedding Desserts

It’s safe to say everybody loves a good dessert, and we are no different! That’s why we thought we’d share with you our 5 favourite desserts that are perfect for weddings.

1. Pie On A Stick:

At a Yorkshire Wedding, we don’t think you can go wrong with a pie and these miniature pies on sticks are real beauts. Pies of all different flavours, like apple, blueberry, or chocolate, will guarantee there’s something for everyone at your wedding, and their fun-size portions allow your guests to try more than one flavour.

2. Croquembouche:

This dessert is one for those who want to make a statement. If you have seen the Great British Bake Off this will be a familiar sight to you, a Croquembouche is a French dessert consisting of choux pastry balls filled with creme patisserie and arranged into a cone and bound with threads of caramel for the ultimate decadent dessert.

3. Cake Pops:

Cake pops are a fun alternative to wedding cake at a wedding. You can choose from a selection of fillings and frostings and then colour match the decorations to suit the theme of your wedding. They also have the added benefit of being easy to eat on the move, so that means your guests can eat with one hand while they’re busting moves out on the dance floor.

4. Doughnuts:

Maybe not something you would have thought of for wedding dessert but doughnuts can be a great end of meal treat for your guests. They are also really versatile, you can display them on tiers to mimic a multitiered cake, or go for something a little different, like an on-trend doughnut wall for an Instagram worthy wedding dessert.

5. Berry Parfaits:

Fruit and yoghurt parfaits are a great dessert for a more healthy (and gluten-free!) option. Guests can create their own parfait and add ingredients from a fruit and yoghurt bar. Parfaits could also be used as a lighter option to pair with the wedding cake, perfect for avoiding your guests falling into food comas!
